Illinois State Requirements
Applies to Illinois resident state producers
Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics done in a classroom/webinar format, every 2-year license term.
The state of Illinois (IL) allows 10 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number and completed affidavit’s for Quest CE to report within deadline.
Exam Monitor Required: Disinterested 3rd Party.
License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is every 2 years on the last day of your birth month. CE should be completed no later than 1 month prior to license expiration.
Course Credit Carryover: Allowed - up to 12 hours. Excess Ethics credits will not fulfill future Ethics requirements.
