Designation and State Webinar CE Event Requirements
This guide outlines the documentation and compliance requirements for processing webinar CE credits, including Designation, State DOI, TX-CPA, and CPE/CPA credits.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for collecting all required attendance and compliance documentation and submitting it to Quest CE within 48 hours of the webinar.
Required submission materials:
- Completed webinar spreadsheet or webinar platform report
- Polling question responses (if applicable)
- Evaluation forms
- Affidavits (if applicable)
All materials should be submitted to the Webinar Processing Team at webinars@questce.com.
Universal Requirement
Sign-in and sign-out times (or attendance duration) are required for all webinar credit processing, regardless of credit type.
Without attendance verification, credit cannot be awarded.
State DOI, TX-CPA, and CPE/CPA Requirements
The following are required:
- Sign-in and sign-out times
- Polling question responses
- Identifiable attendee information
- No anonymous attendance records
Polling Questions
- Minimum of 3 polling questions per credit hour
- Polls must be launched randomly during the presentation
- Attendees requesting credit must answer all required polling questions
- Missed polling questions may result in a denial of credit
Designation Credit Requirements
Attendees must:
- Have webinar platform-generated log-in and log-out times
- Attend the full course duration (50 minutes per credit hour)
Final Attestation Requirement
For the following states:
AZ, AR, FL, MI, MN, KY, OK, SC, and WI
A final attestation polling question or affidavit is required.
Required attestation:
"I verify that I participated in and attended all sessions of this webinar course."
Answer options:
- Yes
- No
Credit cannot be processed without a completed attestation.

State-Specific Disclosures
The required state disclosures must be read or provided during the webinar for:
- DC
- MI
- MN
- NY
- SC
- VA
New York
The following documents must be uploaded within the webinar platform:
- Course approval
- Instructor approval
- Provider approval
Evaluation Forms Required
Evaluation forms should be made available for:
- TX
- LA
- MN
- NY
- OK
- WY
Completed evaluations should be returned with the webinar documentation.
Texas Attendance Requirement
For Texas credit:
- A minimum of three attendees, excluding the instructor, must be present.
Processing Reminder
Before processing webinar credit, verify:
- Attendance times are included.
- Polling reports are provided when required.
- Attendee information is identifiable.
- State-specific requirements have been met.
- Attestation requirements have been completed for applicable states.
Failure to obtain the required documentation may result in credit being denied or delayed.
