What is the Passing Score for an Exam?
Understanding the exam scores required to reach a Complete training status
Quest CE's standard passing score for training courses is 70%. Users must earn a 70% or higher to pass an exam and receive a Complete status per course.
Custom or Firm-Specific Courses
-
Some client firms set their own passing score threshold for custom courses built exclusively for their user population. If you're enrolled in a firm-specific course, the required passing score may differ from the standard 70%.
⚠️ Clients are unable to modify the passing score for Quest CE courses submitted for state or designated credit approval.
Retaking an Exam
-
If you do not meet the passing score, your record will reflect an Incomplete status. Most exams can be retaken as many times as needed to earn a passing score. Each attempt randomizes the question and answer choice order.
Annual Compliance Meeting (ACM) Exams
-
Exams that follow the content of a standard ACM typically consist of a single attestation question. Users must answer this question correctly to pass, simply confirming they have reviewed and agree to all material covered in the course content.
