Delaware State Requirements

Applies to Delaware Resident Producers

Required Continuing Education Credits

Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.

The state of Delaware (DE) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.

No Monitor Required. The state of Delaware allows open-book exams.

Roster Fee: $1.50/credit

License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is on February 28th every even year for residents. For non-residents, license renewal is on February 28th of every odd year.

Course Credit Carryover: Allowed - up to 5 credits. Will not apply to ethics credit requirement. Excess mandatory requirement credits will be applied as general credits.
