Do all training courses include an exam?
Understand how exams follow the content portion of each standard training course within Quest CE's platform.
Yes, nearly all Quest CE training courses include an exam — with one exception. The only courses that may not are custom or firm-specific (Non-CE) training modules, which can be configured differently based on client requirements.
How the standard course flow works
All standard Quest CE courses follow a two-part structure:
- Content — The user progresses through the training material (pages/slides) at their own pace. Once they've completed all pages, their status updates to Content Complete.
- Exam — After reaching Content Complete, the exam unlocks automatically and the user is prompted to begin. Successfully passing the exam moves the user to a final status of Complete.
Exams are multiple choice. Length varies depending on the training type, category, and credit value of the course.
What about Annual Compliance Meetings (ACMs)?
Standard ACMs also follow this two-part structure and include an exam — though it's a simple one. The exam for most ACMs consists of a single attestation question, so users can expect a very quick and straightforward completion process.
