How do I update my carrier/broker information to see available product training courses for me?

It's essential to understand that carriers' various product training courses are set to only display for users whose profiles are associated with the intended carrier and firm associations needed to access, train on, and sell those products.

If you click "Add Product Specific" in the left-hand menu of your profile and aren't seeing the correct product training courses you expect to see and add to your profile, chances are you simply don't have the correct carrier and broker-dealer/firm associations set up in your profile settings. Not to worry - You control this yourself, and it's easy to update!

 

Once you're logged into your NAIC user account, locate the side menu on the left side of the screen and hover over it. From the menu, you have two options:

  • Click "Manage Appointments" if you need to update your carrier associations.
  • Click "Broker Dealer" if you need to update your affiliated broker-dealer or firm.

After making the necessary updates, navigate to "Add Product Specific" in the left-hand menu. The system will refresh the list of available courses based on the new firm and carrier selections you've indicated.

If you still don't see the correct carrier information or product courses, you may need to contact your carrier or firm directly to inquire where to take training if it is not hosted in the Quest CE NAIC portal.
