Iowa State Requirements
Applies to Iowa Resident Producers
Producers are required to take 36 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 3-year license term.
The state of Iowa requires Life & Health producers to complete a one-time 4 credit course on indexed product training prior to providing advice or making any sales presentations concerning an indexed product. Quest CE’s approved course for this requirement is titled:
“Iowa Indexed Products 4 Hour Training Course (CE)”
The state of Iowa (IA) allows for reporting of CE credits until the 10th of the following month of exam completion. For example, if you complete the exam April 23rd, the deadline would be May 10th.
Exam Monitor Required: Disinterested 3rd Party
Roster Fee: $1.50/credit
License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is the last day of your birth month every 3 years.
Course Credit Carryover: Not allowed
