Kentucky State Requirements
Applies to Kentucky Resident Producers
Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.
The state of Kentucky requires a minimum of 6 credits be completed in the line in which a producer is licensed in.
The state of Kentucky (KY) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.
No Monitor Required. The state of Kentucky allows open-book exams.
License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is the last day of your birth month every 2 years. If your birth year is an even year, your renewal will be on an even year. If your birth year is an odd year, your renewal will be on an odd year.
Course Credit Carryover: Allowed - up to 12 hours. Excess Ethics credits will carryover as general credits.
