Louisiana State Requirements
Applies to Louisiana Resident Producers
Required Continuing Education Credits:
Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.
The state of Louisana (LA) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.
No Monitor Required. The state of Louisiana allows open-book exams.
License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is last day of birth month. LH licensees renew every even year and PC licensees renew every odd year.
Course Credit Carryover: Allowed - up to 10 hours.
