Maine State Requirements
Applies to Maine Resident Producers
Required Continuing Education Credits:
Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.
The state of Maine (ME) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.
No Monitor Required for courses under 16 credits. For 16 credits and above a monitor will be required. The state of Maine allows open-book exams.
License Renewal Deadline: The last day of the licensee's birth month, every 2 years, based on odd/even birth year.
Course Credit Carryover: Not allowed
