Maryland State Requirements
Applies to Maryland Resident Producers
Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.
The state of Maryland requires producers who are licensed in both Life & Health and Property & Casulty to complete a minimum of 6 credits of CE in each line.
The state of Maryland (MD) allows 10 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.
No Monitor Required
License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is your license issuance date, every 2 years.
Maryland licensed insurance producers must complete required CE 15 days prior to their license expiration date. Maryland Public Insurance Adjusters must complete required CE 30 days prior to license expiration.
Course Credit Carryover: Not allowed
