Massachusetts State Requirements
Applies to Massachusetts Resident Producers
Producers are required to take 60 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, their first renewal cycle, thereafter, are only required to take 45 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 3-year license term.
The state of Massachusetts (MA) allows 10 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number and completed affidavit’s for Quest CE to report within deadline.
Exam Monitor Required: Disinterested Third Party
Roster Fee: $2.00/credit
License Renewal Deadline: 3 years from original license date.
Course Credit Carryover:
Allowed - up to 45 hours. Excess Ethics credits will carryover as general credits.
