Michigan State Requirements

Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.

The state of Michigan (MI) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number [and completed affidavit’s] for Quest CE to report within deadline.

Exam Monitor Required: Disinterested 3rd Party 

Roster Fee: $1.00/credit

License Renewal Deadline: Licensees with dates of birth in odd years will have CE due the first day of their birth month every two years in all odd years. Licensees with dates of birth in even years will have CE due the first day of their birth month every two years in all even years.

Course Credit Carryover: Allowed - up to 12 hours. Excess Ethics credits will carryover as general credits.
