Montana State Requirements
Applies to Montana Resident Producers
Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, 1 credit of legislative changes in Montana Insurance statutes and Administrative rules, every 2-year license term.
The state of Montana (MT) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.
No Exam Monitor Required
License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is the first day of your birth month every 2 years. If your birth year is an even year, your renewal will be on an even year. If your birth year is an odd year, your renewal will be on an odd year.
Course Credit Carryover: Not allowed
