Why Haven't My Credits Been Submitted?
Common reasons credits may be delayed and how to resolve them
If you've passed an exam but your credits have not yet appeared on your respective transcript, there are a few possible explanations to consider.
1.) You May Be in a State That Requires a Monitor Affidavit
Some states require a completed monitor affidavit before Quest CE can submit your credits. If this applies to you:
- Confirm that you have submitted your affidavit to Quest CE
- Verify that the affidavit is fully and correctly filled out
Credits cannot be processed until a valid affidavit is received.
2.) Your State, Designation, or Transcript May Not Be Reflecting Credits
In some cases, a state may delay or withhold credits for a variety of reasons outside of Quest CE's control.
Common reasons for this include:
- Repeating a course in a state that does not allow course repetition
- Completing a course before your new renewal cycle began or before your license was reinstated
- Being behind on credits from a previous period, which may cause credits to backfill to a prior cycle
This list is not exhaustive and represents only a few reasons that could prevent credits from appearing on your transcript. If you believe any of these situations may apply to you, we recommend contacting your state or designation board directly for more detailed information on the status of your submission.
3.) Still Have Questions?
If you've confirmed your affidavit has been submitted and your state doesn't have additional requirements on file, please reach out to our support team (support@questce.com).
In some cases, we may be able to confirm that Quest CE has already processed and submitted your credits to the respective state or designation board. Please note that even after Quest CE submission, there can sometimes be a brief delay before those submitted credits appear on your transcript — typically resolving within a few days.
