Rhode Island State Requirements

Required Continuing Education Credits:
Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.
The state of Rhode Island (RI) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.
No Exam Monitor Required. The state of Rhode Island allows open-book exams.
License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is due last day of birth month every 2 years.
Roster Fee: $1.50/credit
Course Credit Carryover
Allowed - up to 24 hours. Excess Ethics credits carryover as general credits.
