Single Sign-On (SSO)

Understand the SSO login option available with Quest CE for firm programs

As an alternate login method available to firm programs, users may be directed to sign into their Quest CE user profile via SSO (Single Sign-On) instead of navigating to the Quest CE user login page and entering a username and password manually.

What is SSO?

Single sign-on (SSO) allows enrolled firm users and client administrator(s) to gain access to Quest CE’s Renaissance CMS through a secure, single click solution without the need to enter user credentials on Quest CE’s user login page. The SSO service authenticates the end user for all the access roles the individual has been given rights to and eliminates future password prompts for individual applications during the same session.

If a Client Firm utilizes SSO, it is recommended that all users in the account access the platform via this access method. If necessary, Client Admins may decide to control / set individual users to “SSO Off” if there are some users who will not have SSO access and need the ability to login manually. With SSO, existing users in the Renaissance platform will be signed into their access roles when they click an established link or button within their company's intranet or employee homepage. 

Training or other service assignments are not assigned to user profiles through SSO, it is simply a method of user login. Service assignments are to be managed via Client Admin access point in Renaissance LMS.

What should users do?

Follow your program email directions. If you are a user enrolled in a firm program that has set up SSO for you to simply click into your Quest CE profile instead of manually logging in, reference your program email directions which are managed & sent out by your compliance team. This program should inform you where to click to access your Quest CE profile seamlessly.
