Texas State Requirements

Producers are required to take 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.

The state of Texas requires 50% of total CE credits must be met through classroom study or online classroom equivalent. Quest CE's approved classroom equivalent course is titled: Ethically Planning for Life and Death (Classroom Equivalent)

Texas DOI requires mandatory timed content. A countdown timer tracks active engagement within the course and will not be marked complete until the timer has run its full duration. Progress will be saved.

The state of Texas (TX) allows 30 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.

No Monitor Required. The state of Texas allows open-book exams.

Roster Fee: $0.88/credit

License Renewal Deadline: License renewal is every 2 years. All required continuing education hours must be completed before the expiration date of the license.

Course Credit Carryover: Not allowed
