Producers are required to take 16 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, every 2-year license term.
Virginia DOI requires producers who are dually licensed to take 24 credits of insurance CE with a minimum of 8 credits in each line of authority.
Daily Credit Limit: Virginia DOI states that a producer may not earn more than 12 CE credits per 24 hours. Users will be stopped at the 12 hour mark and locked until 24 hours have passed.
The state of Virginia (VA) allows 10 days, including exam completion date, for reporting CE credits. Producers are required to provide accurate license number for Quest CE to report within deadline.

License Renewal Deadline:
Licenses have a renewal date based on your birth month and odd/even year of birth, and have a minimum of 13 months from the date your license was issued before first renewal. For example, if you were born in an odd-numbered year, your license will expire at the end of your birth month in odd-numbered years. If you were born in an even-numbered year, your license will expire at the end of your birth month in even-numbered years.
Course Credit Carryover:
Allowed - Excess credit hours accumulated during any renewal cycle may be carried forward to the next renewal cycle only
